Virtual SCGC 2020 – Trade Hall

Back to the Virtual Con Main Menu

While it’s not the same as strolling down the aisles, exclaiming in delight as you spot that kawaii bargain, or shuddering with delight as you find _that_ back issue that you’ve been chasing for years, we’d really appreciate it if you take the time between streams to go and check out the websites of all the vendors that you would have found in the trade halls at SCGC this year.

A lot of their sites have web-stores, and a lot of these folks will be really feeling the lack of convention season this year… so if you can afford to, why not treat yourself to some conevention purchases from the comfort of your own home and help keep these excellent people in business so that they can come back to SCGC in 2021!

My name is Gemma, the artist/owner of IdentraCraft based in Swansea. After rekindling my passion for illustration in the summer of 2018, I began drawing animals in a style that both children and adults can enjoy. From the more familiar species such as penguinís, rhinoís, and foxes, to the lesser known/critically endangered species such as tapirís, okapiís and bactrian camels, with the aim of bringing attention to these wonderful creatures.

I print/make all my items featuring my animal drawings including – magnetic pin cushions, coasters, tote bags, cards, fabric facewipes, plush keyrings, and more. You can find my artwork/items on my art pages at www.facebook.com/identracraft and www.instagram.com/identracraft. Recently I’ve started incorporating locally sourced materials, an example being Welsh woollen fabric with my handmade magnet pin cushions.

Keeping the environment in mind I try my best to avoid unnecessary use of plastic, meaning all my items are wrapped with reusable/recyclable materials. Plus the added bonus of arriving gift wrapped, because everyone loves opening a gift!
